To All Lady Trojan Student-Athletes and Parents,

The lacrosse team will begin the Spring 2012 evaluations beginning on Monday, February 20, 2012. The evaluations will be conducted over the 5 days next week concluding on Friday, February 24, 2012.

ALL evaluation days are a REQUIRED ATTENDANCE to be considered for a squad. If there is a situation that does not allow attendance, then prior approval is required from Coach Southern.

Here is the schedule for the week:
Monday, Feb. 20 - 5:00pm to 8:00pm - Center Grove High School - Hall of Excellence - FITNESS TEST

Tuesday, Feb. 21 - 3:00pm to 5:00pm - Indoor Practice Facility @Center Grove Soccer - SKILLS TEST

Weds., Feb. 22 - 2:30pm to 5:00pm - Indoor Practice Facility @Center Grove Soccer - SCRIMMAGES (If weather permits, this may move to outdoor, all girls will be told Tuesday night)

Thursday, Feb. 23 - 3:00pm to 5:00pm - Indoor Practice Facility @Center Grove Soccer - SITUATION REVIEW  (If weather permits, this may move to outdoor, all girls will be told Wednesday night)

Friday, Feb. 24 - 3:00pm to 5:00pm - Center Grove High School - ROOM 333 - FINAL REVIEW - TEAM SQUADS POSTED

The Indiana High School Women's Lacrosse Association has announced this years selection for the 2011 Rising Stars Showcase game.

The Lady Trojans selected are:

Anicia Mattingly - Sophomore Midfielder
Kristen Southern - Sophomore Attack

The showcase game will be played this Saturday, May 21 at 2:00pm during the state finals weekend at Heritage Christian High School.

Please congratulate these young ladies for their selection and achieving this great honor.

The Indiana High School Women's Lacrosse Association has announced the All-Region selections for the Spring 2011 season. These selections represent the best players in the Southern Indiana Region.

Center Grove Lacrosse is proud to announce the selection of three middle school girls lacrosse members to the Indiana Rising Stars All-Star Game.

Center Grove hosted Assumption, Brebeuf Jesuit, and Manual High Schools and all raised money for Breast Cancer Research.
 

Donations for the event reached $3,740.00!

Emily Denney has been selected by US Lacrosse to receive one of it's highest awards. Emily has been awarded the National Academic All-American Award for the Spring 2010 season. This is Emily's second consecutive year to be selected for this exceptional honor.

Congratulations to Emily Denney for both her hard work in the classroom and on the field.

Emily Denney is attending Purdue University.

Center Grove Lacrosse is proud to announce that Ashley Christner, Katy Denton, and Allyson LeMasters have signed to play lacrosse at the collegiate level. Here they are with their parents and Coach Brian Southern for signing day.

Katy Denton will be attending Carthage College, and Ashley Christner and Allyson LeMasters will be attending Urbana University. Each of them have received scholarship support for lacrosse as well as academic scholarships. We are all proud of these young ladies for this great accomplishment.

Center Grove Lacrosse and Mount Pleasent Christian Church have partnered to provide a community program that offers summer leagues and camps for youth players interested in lacrosse. This partnership will allow further growth and expansion of this rapidly growing sport in the Central Indiana area. Center Grove Lacrosse will be providing the coaches and staff to run the camps and leagues with their technical expertise in lacrosse and Mount Pleasent will be providing facilities and thier expert administrative support to operate the programs and offer this to a wider group of area youth.
